Delhi Public School Mohali Model United Nations
DPS Mohali MUN 2026 was organised by Sorami Events and filmed in cinematic 4K by Kalkie Productions — Tricity's premier video production company for events, brand films, and corporate productions.
Introduction
This project captured a two-day Model United Nations event hosted by Sorami Events in Mohali, Punjab. The work spanned a launch intro video, on-ground photography, and a full event aftermovie — created to build awareness and drive future bookings by translating the energy of the event into a cinematic recap.
Challenges
The engagement carried three distinct pressures. The launch intro video had to be shot and delivered within a single day, while the main event was captured across an active, occupied venue with constant crowd movement. The aftermovie also called for an entirely new editing format, including custom motion elements designed and composited in After Effects.
Solution
A structured shoot plan was built around a compact three-person crew handling photography, video, and drone coverage simultaneously allowing complete coverage of a fast-moving event without disrupting it. The intro video was produced on an expedited timeline, a two-hour shoot delivered within a day, and the final aftermovie, led by a newly developed intro segment and custom After Effects elements, was delivered within four days of the two-day event.
